MANTRA — “Voice of Kern”

An illustration for one of the chapters of my book MANTRA, set aboard the Kern station.
The scene started from a 3D composition I created for the characters, camera and lighting. I also used a 3D space-station environment as a base, but heavily reworked the architecture, lighting and details, then painted over and refined the scene by hand for the final image.
